Emery sacked, Freddie favourite after being named interim boss
Unai Emery was finally sacked by Arsenal after Europa League embarrassment by Eintracht Frankfurt so Jasmine Baba looks at the Next Permanent Arsenal Manager market as Freddie goes joint favourite- According to the tips free soccer page!

    Arsenal sack Emery
After seven games without a win in all competitions, Arsenal have sacked their manager, Unai Emery, just 18 months into the job. It was a turbulent few months in north London which saw the delay of a captain being chosen, ongoing issues with Mesut Ozil concerning playing time, the Granit Xhaka saga and losing the support of the dressing room.

A statement from Arsenal said: "Our most sincere thanks go to Unai and his colleagues who were unrelenting in their efforts to get the club back to competing at the level we all expect and demand. We wish Unai and his team nothing but future success. The decision has been taken due lớn results and performances not being at the level required."

He had only managed lớn win less than half of his soccer vip tip in charge of the club in the Premier League (49%) and by the time they face Norwich on Sunday, it will be 56 days without a win in the league.

Club legend Freddie Ljungberg has been named as the interim head coach after encouraging results at U23 level which saw him promoted into first-team coaching in the summer. He has impressed the board and it's no surprise to see him named as the replacement at this moment in time especially as he's a favourite among the fans. However, the rumours of a move for Wolves mananger Nuno Espirito Santo won't go away and the Portuguese is second favourite in the Next Arsenal Manager market at 4.10 after Ljungberg at 2.70.

Mikel Arteta was in the club's sights after Arsene Wenger left, but any such move for him would have lớn wait until the summer, as it is reported that he wouldn't leave Manchester City until then.

And of course, what of unemployed Mauricio Pochettino? He can obviously join straightaway but would he cross sides of north London like Sol Campbell? He's available at 7.00.
